Two of my pieces have been accepted in this year's INK & CLAY 43 Exhibition. The exhibition will be held at the Kellogg University Art Gallery at Cal Poly Pomona. The ceramic juror was Jane Takayama-Ogawa, Otis College of Art and Design, Los Angeles, CA. Since 2008, I have participated in 8 exhibitions there. “Winter Ridge” is a decorative functional vase, while “Cosmic Eggs” is a slip-cast sculpture (shown here). Workshop in Chengcheng, China, home of Yaotou kiln ceramics.
This workshop will explore the local culture and industry related to Yaotou black porcelain. Art creation and firing, ceramic forum and touring will take place.

My Winter Open Studio will take place on Saturday and Sunday, December 2 & 3, 10am to 5pm at my gallery at 16 Coalmine View in Portola Valley. I will be showing new works influenced by my recent trips to China and Korea. I will also be featuring new textures and new glaze colors.
