The International Ceramic Forum was held September 28 to October 11, 2008 in Zibo, China. Sponsored by Mr. Li Ziyuan at his art center and home in Zichuan District of Zibo, the forum included a workshop, wood kiln firing, symposium, and the publication of an art book. An outcome of the forum was the formation of the new International Ceramic Artist Association.
