This article recently appeared in the Goshogwara newspaper Too Nippo. In addition to interviewing me about the Woodfire Festival in Goshogawara, the article describes my “struggle” to make this new form. I do not recall saying “struggling”, but I did describe how the great throwing properties of Kanayama clay allow me to try new things.
