2024 Korea-US Invitational Ceramic Exhibition. My work "Oribe Carved Diamond Globe Vase will be in this international exhibition from July 1 to December 31, 2024. The exhibition is sponsored by Seoul Cyber University, KOREA.

My work Ruby Sun Flower has been selected for the Ink & Clay 46 Competition. This exhibition runs from August 8 to December 14 at the Kellogg University Art Gallery in Pomona, CA

I will be holding my annual winter open studio at 16 Coal Mine View, Portola Valley, CA from 10am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday, December 7 & 8, 2024.

The ICAA proposes to hold a symposium and exhibition in Fall of 2025. It has been over four years since the association met in Yixing, China.

I am pleased to announce the “2024 Select Woodfire Workshop” sponsored by Tsugaru Kanayama Pottery and myself in  Goshogawara, Aomori, Japan.  This workshop will take place in October, 2024 at Tsugaru Kanayama Pottery.

Beginning 2002, over 130 ceramic artists and potters from around the world have been selected to participate in similar woodfire programs at Kanayama. The programs focus on the exchange of techniques and ideas about ceramic art and wood fire. By working together and freely sharing information, the sponsors seek to encourage mutual understanding and cooperation among potters throughout the world.  Past programs can be view at: www.makigama.org
