Lee's piece, "Ruby Diamond Vase" will be exhibited in the International Academy of Ceramics Exhibition "Clay Replacing Plastic" at the Sculpture Space NYC - Center for Ceramic Arts in New York City. June, 2026 Based in Geneva, the International Academy of Ceramics is the principal organization representing the interests of ceramists worldwide. Lee was elected a member of the academy in 2019.

The prestigious ACGA Clay & Glass Festival in Palo Alto features a free and fun-filled celebration of ceramic and glass art. Featuring both fine and functional art, the ACGA Clay & Glass Festival boasts more than 130 juried artists displaying their best work.

Shop for unique, one-of-a-kind artwork while you meet the artists. Attendees will also enjoy several demonstrations of hands-on activities, including pottery-making and ikebana demonstrations, as well as an interactive clay project for artists of all ages.

I will be holding my annual winter open studio at 16 Coal Mine View, Portola Valley, CA from 10am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday, December 6 & 7, 2025.

I am pleased to announce the “2024 Select Woodfire Workshop” sponsored by Tsugaru Kanayama Pottery and myself in  Goshogawara, Aomori, Japan.  This workshop will take place in October, 2024 at Tsugaru Kanayama Pottery.

Beginning 2002, over 130 ceramic artists and potters from around the world have been selected to participate in similar woodfire programs at Kanayama. The programs focus on the exchange of techniques and ideas about ceramic art and wood fire. By working together and freely sharing information, the sponsors seek to encourage mutual understanding and cooperation among potters throughout the world.  Past programs can be view at: www.makigama.org
